Conduct experiments involving both terrestrial and aquatic animals and plants, in a closed environment. Activities such as measuring the amounts of pollutants added and their direct effects on the organisms can be easily studied with this chamber. The large, triple-strength glass tank is surrounded by a sturdy iron frame with a coated finish; the top can be sealed to close the environment but allows access for measuring devices, as well as introduction of liquid or gas pollutants. It comes with the Experiment Guide for the Environmental Studies Chamber, a 28-page teacher’s guide with suggested activities. Pumps, required for circulating gas or water, are available separately.
