| Three Investigations Test Cigarettes |
Determine the quantity of tar in a cigarette, find out whether the smoke from the first half or the second half of a cigarette contains more tar, and test the effectiveness of filters, all with one kit. The membrane filters of the Millipore kit are used in a patch test to measure the amount of residue in the cigarette smoke. The kit contains instructions and materials for eight tests. Note: The Millipore Basic Equipment Set, required, is available separately.
