WARD’S Antibiotic Resistance Kit |
| Compare Bacteria With and Without Natural Resistance |
Using two types of common, naturally occurring, nonpathogenic bacteria, students grow a lawn of each with penicillin-impregnated discs on each plate. The bacteria with natural resistance should completely cover the plate with growth, while the bacteria without resistance will show a zone of inhibition (a ring of no growth around the disc). It comes with Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus epidermidis tube cultures, materials for five lab groups, and instructions. Note: Includes perishable materials. Please specify delivery date.
