For lessons focusing on the endocrine system, use this life-size model of a full-term male infant that illustrates exactly where in the body the glands are located. The model shows the enlarged thymus, which shrinks as the body matures. The brain, abdomen, and testicle are dissected to reveal the inner structures, and the thyroid is dissected to show the parathyroids. The pituitary, suprarenal, and pancreas are also shown. Constructed of lightweight, durable plastic, the model is hand painted under the supervision of our staff anatomist to ensure the greatest accuracy.
