Students will be able to learn the answers to many weather questions and more through the use of numerous satellite video sequences and full-color images of clouds, landscapes, and charts. They will learn how to identify global weather patterns, predict the weather, even build a backyard weather station to study their own area’s weather. High-resolution images of storm and hurricane development include a full-screen, full-globe sequence of weather patterns over the course of a week, allowing students to view the development of storm systems. While the program is ideal for introducing students to the science of meteorology, it also features advanced lessons, such as identifying global weather patterns.
