Our planet experiences constant earthquake activity, and students can keep track of the earthquake reports from around the world, available from the National Earthquake Information Center. Set up the giant world map in your classroom and students can plot where each earthquake took place and record its magnitude. Then they can try to determine patterns and predict where future seismic activity might occur. The set includes a 50″ x 30″ world map and 300 pins in three colors.
