Demonstrate the effect of temperature on the density of a liquid the whole class can see. The Floating Density Ball is a hollow metal sphere, over 3″ in diameter, and is weighted to float when placed in cool water (15°C) and sink in warm water (30°C). A 2,000 mL beaker, required, is available separately. The ball comes with instructions.
