Intended to be used with a standard overhead projector to display, describe, and discuss the visible spectrum of light and the role of various filters without the usual burden of special language and involved calculations. A continuous reference spectrum can be projected, as well as the spectrum of a filtering material. The kit includes a large piece of holographic diffraction grating, a slit for the projector stage, more than 30 gels, and three special flasks for viewing a transparent colored liquid.
