Eucrites, the most abundant type of this rare class of meteorite, are 4.5 billion years old, brecciated, anhydrous, baslatic rocks composed mostly of plagioclase and pigeonite. Cut slabs reveal a plagioclase-rich basaltic rock with occasional darker clasts, typical of eucrites. One centimeter cut slab.
