This self-contained work station uses carbon filters to rid the laboratory of annoying or unsafe concentrations of organic solvents, formaldehyde, acid gases, or ammonia in Class 100 conditions. It has a white, epoxy-coated, aluminum frame with 3/16″-thick, tempered safety glass sides and requires no ductwork. The control panel features an LCD to display the filter time elapsed, a programmable timer for audio/visual alarm, an alarm/mute switch with LED indicator, an event timer, and programming switches. The unit includes two roughing pre-filters; two 1 1/2″ diameter utility ports with plastic plugs; two 20 W fluorescent lamps; 1/4″ thick, tempered safety glass sash that is adjustable to two positions; and an 8′ electrical cord. One set of carbon-based Color-Smart Filter Cells, required, is available separately. The exhaust volume is 236 CFM and the airflow performance is tested to ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 110-1995. 115 VAC, 60 Hz. Overall size: 36″W x 29″D x 58 1/2″H; weight: 290 lbs.
